It has been said that man by nature is vain and conceited. While we continue our temporary journey in this world, we will be going after so many things (after so many things: riches, fame, glory, reputation, etc.) Yet, we usually end up empty because we wil not be satisfied. Sadly, we crave for more than what is enough of these temporal things. We will still be facing for that something that will fulfill us, for that somebody who will give us peace and contentment. And who is this something? Who is this somebody? He is none other than our Lord Jesus Christ.
It cannot be denied that we do have particular roles to play in this life. But sad to say. we cannot strictly do it among ourselves. We do need the services of God's ministers and his church. Perhaps, God has blessed us with unique gifts and talents, but we are humanly limited. Thus, we need priests and devoted God's ministers to act as shepherds over his flocks in this turbulent world.
As members of God's venerable and living church, we have with us in our midst, our very Rev. Fr. Dinh. He is humbly task to be watchful and alert and to take care of our erring lives, to be responsible for our actions so we may become the radiantly beautiful souls God has meant us to be.
Now the time is nigh for him to say goodbye leaving us behind as he is slated to pursue his studies in Italy. Doubtless to say, no words perfectly describe the actual feeling do we have now as an impact of Fr. Dinh's scheduled transfer far beyond our sight.
Verily, it is indeed heart breaking, so much so, bearing in mind that he had been so close to us. He had painstakingly rubbed elbows with us in order to pass the word around to preach the divine gospel of the Lord. Those are the memories that linger long when imprinted deep in hearts, the fun and the laughters of love and understanding, yes, all the world seems so sad and weary as we utter the words goodbye. Von voyage, good luck, and good health. We will miss you. Hasta la vista. Til we meet again, Fr. Quoc Dinh Nguyen!!!

This is to pass this very sad information to KCIC members and friends on the unexpected and untimely passing of our dear Sister in Christ Maya Y. Carosus, the wife of our brother in the community Ben Carosus...Mario and Merilyn has been informed by Ben about this sudden loss and unexpected ordeal in the family. At this very moment, as one community we pray for the eternal repose of Maya's soul and may perpetual light shine upon her. Likewise , we also pray for the family of Maya that God will enfold in them love, strength and courage in this time of bereavement.
Below is a short Prayer for a Departed Soul that we can pray personally for the Untimely death of Maya. "O Loving Father and Savior, send your angels to carry the soul of your servant from this earth to the heavenly place of eternal and everlasting life. Let family and friends who have passed before in faith be reunited in joy with the departed. Forgive any wrongs that have been committed and welcome this beloved spirit into the warm embrace of your unending peace. Amen."
Maya's Passing will be prayed and honored on September 2, 2012 at the Kami-Fukuoka Church, started at 8:00pm with a Holy Mass and Vigil rites to follow. Your prescence and prayers is sorely requested by Maya’s Family and loved ones especially in these times of grief and sorrow.

Jesus Christ once said to apostle Peter, "Peter, upon this rock I will build my church."
Sometime in the morning of October 22, 2011, last year, the ground breaking and blessing of the site of our proposed church edifice took place amidst a slight downpour. Such an unforgettable event and ceremony which was well attended by a group of Catholic devotees who braved the rain, was spearheaded and officiated by no less than our faithful God's servants Rev. Fr. John Warret and Fr. Quoc Dinh Nguyen.
At long last, for only after a brief period of 7 months our new church edifice has finally, definitely and proudly risen.
Such an endeavor and accomplishment was quite a great revelation in itself for that matter. Just think of it! Such a gigantic task was completed and accomplished for only a matter of seven months. No doubt that Japanese construction ranks quality among the top of the world. But, also this has something to do with individuals endowed with golden hearts. As always perceived, we have particular roles to play in this life, one way or another. God has blessed us with unique talents. We will be great not in comparison with others but only by being the radiantly beautiful person God has meant us to be. (continued...)

An Open Letter To all The Members of KCIC
November 4, 2011
Brothers and Sisters:
Greetings!
At the outset, allow us to tell you that this letter is prompted by the noblest of all our emotions.
Dai ichi ni, how we wish to return and to reciprocate the wonderful things you had bestowed unto us! As the Italian put it, "Veni, Vedi, Veci"... which means "I came, I saw, I was conquered!" Indeed, the very instance when we arrived here in this wondrous place fittingly dubbed as the "land of the rising sun," we couldn't help but conclude that such was very true in the real sense of the word. When the heart is full, the mouth has less. We ran short of words to describe and express our admiration, so much so, when my wife and I met you for the very first time at the birthday party, subsequently followed by the church activities, meetings, etc.
